you ever feel guilty? no.

having watched coco avant chanel earlier in 2009, I was pretty excited about this one. coco chanel & igor stravinsky picks up approximately where anne fontaine left us. and so even though, these two films were filmed completely independently of one another, it is probably a good idea to watch them in order. just to be able to create a generally good picture about what coco’s life was like. both films try very hard to capture chanel’s independence, creativity and mostly her character and personality, as a successful woman who inspired and keeps inspiring generations one after another. I feel like I should write more, but nothing else needs to be written. if anything, pay attention to the music in the background. it adds such quality to the film.
